GETTING TO KNOW DR. YAH!

Dr. Yah, Oriental Medicine Therapist

DR. YAH (Hanania Cohen) is a well-known and respected healer, philosopher, and therapist with a thriving clinic in Colorado. Born and raised in Israel, he was introduced to martial arts as a young boy, which led to his exploration of Chinese and Japanese traditional medicines and began his lifelong mission of helping people through by everything he’s learnt into his practice.

I spent the past two decades in furthering my education and practice of ancient medicine combined with advanced techniques and methods.

In 2006, DR. YAH received his diploma in traditional Chinese medicine from Reidman College in Jerusalem, followed by a clinical internship in various departments, including orthopedic, gynecology, children, dermatology and internal medicine, specializing in herbal medicine, acupuncture and Tui-na modalities; at Chengdu University Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in China. A certified hypnotherapist (Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI) in California, 2007), DR. YAH is also certified, since 2012, in Neuro-Feedback Techniques, specializing in the Othmar method; holds a master’s degree in Science of Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Dongguk University in Los Angeles; and a certification as Diplomate from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

They say that life is a journey, and I believe in that wholeheartedly. I continue my exploration of Jewish and Eastern philosophies and holistic medicine, helping people improve every aspect of their lives including their physical, emotional, spiritual and mental wellbeing.
